Bert lives in the Village of Oak Creek with his lovely wife and brings with him years of experience in the military, budget and finance, politics, and sales.
Bert has served as the Sedona Golf Resort Home Owners President for 4 years, the Big Park Regional Coordinating Council, and the Sedona Fire Board. His roots are deep into budget and analysis in both the military and space program and can certainly help you pencil out the financial requirements of your Sedona real estate.

ARIZONA REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS
For those of you who are not Arizona residents, you may find the manner in which we do real estate transactions in Arizona to be a little different from your state, or a lot different from your state. Arizona is the only state whereby the real estate agent you work with is, by Arizona’s 26th Amendment to the Arizona State Constitution, allowed to draft and fill in the blanks of documents incidental to the transaction. Big shoes. We process the paperwork, prorations, accumulation of documents, and title work through a neutral, third party: an escrow company. We don’t have formal settlement closings. Because all of this may be very different that your state, do take the time to ask your agent to explain the process to you. Do we use attorneys? We will always recommend you contact an attorney if you have questions, but through the transaction, they are not a formal part of an Arizona transaction.
Real estate licensees who are REALTORS(R) use standard forms developed by the Arizona Association of REALTORS(R) that may be lengthy, but are documents which contain disclosure, duties, conditions, and prompts that will assist you in putting together an offer that can make your purchase a smooth an successful one.
